Public Hearing – Thursday August 21, 2008. 11am.
Commissioner John Brennan opens the public hearing to amend the Appendices to the Civil Service Rules in regards to changing the City Manger Secretary position form competitive to Non-competitive/confidential.
Commissioner Brennan read the attached Public Hearing Amendment.
No member of the public spoke.
SPECIAL MEETING 11:10am: Roll call by secretary Bill Fulton, Present were Commis. John Brennan, Commis. John Camardo and Commis. Jack Hardy. Also present was HR Director Karen Green.
Motion made by Commis. Camardo to accept the amendment to change the City Manger Secretary position from competitive to Non-competitive/confidential. Motion 2nd by Commis Hardy. Carried 3-0.
Bill Fulton gave the commissioners the resolution which needs to be signed. All documentation will be sent to Albany for approval.
Commis Brennan: the second item on the agenda is the request to change a title of a the Registrar of vital stats position.
Commis. Camardo motioned to go into executive session to discuss personnel matters. Commis. Hardy 2nd. Motion carried 3-0.
Commis. Camardo motioned to go out of executive session.
Commis. Hardy 2nd. Motion carried 3-0.
Commis. Camardo motioned to cancel the upcoming September 20th exam for Registrar of Vital Stats.
Commis. Hardy 2nd. Motion carried 3-0.
Commis. Camardo motioned to adjourn.
