Update on Connector Road
City Manager John Salomone introduced project and reviewed using handout and PowerPoint presentation.
Mayor Carnicelli, Council, Steve Lynch, Senior Planner, Bill Lupien, Superintendent of Engineering Services, Vijay Mital, Director of Planning and Economic Development discussed issues related to the Connector Rd. which included:
· Location of Hunter Creek
· DEC concerns
· Estimated costs
· Railroad crossings
· Railroad Hearing schedule
· York St.
· Timeline
· Funding
· Opportunity for residential construction
· Addressing traffic problems

Public to be Heard
Mary McLaughlin COCAP, Syracuse, NY and owner of large portion of property to be effected by road spoke to remind council that the road could attract a premier company that would result in increased sales tax revenue for the city, which could cover cost of road in a year.

Motion for Executive Session to discuss the potential sale of city owned land and the proposed acquisition of real property by Councilor McNabb, seconded by Councilor Dempsey. Councilor Mason, McNabb, Hunter and Dempsey; Mayor Carnicelli all vote yes. PASSED Beginning at 6:20PM, ending at 7:25PM.
