Mayor Quill called the meeting to order at noon.
2009 Roll Call: Councilor Graney, McNabb, Smith, Brower and Mayor Quill, present.
Staff Members Present: Staff Members: City Manager, Mark Palesh, John Rossi, Corporation Counsel, Debra McCormick City Clerk, Lisa Green Comptroller, Chief of Police Gary Giannotta
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag – Mayor Quill led the pledge.
Invocation – given by Frederick Smith, Councilor Matthew Smith’s Father
Military Prayer – by Father Paul Fremesser.
Certificate of Election – The City Clerk read the Certificate of Election letter from the Cayuga County Board of Elections.
Oaths of Office -
Councilor William J. Graney, joined by his mother, Elizabeth Graney took his oath office, administered by Cayuga County Court Judge Thomas Leone.
ouncilor Matthew Smith, joined by his mother, Carol Smith took his oath office administered by Cayuga County Judge Mark Fandrich.
Mayor Quill asked the Clerk to call the 2010 Roll.
Closing Remarks - Councilor Graney and Smith thanked family, friends and supporters.
Benediction – Father James Enright gave the benediction.
Adjournment - Mayor Quill adjourned the meeting at approximately 12:30PM..
